and colorful notgeld set from Erfurt has
MATCHING
serial numbers!
This bright colored version is more UNCOMMON than the other Erfurt sets.
This set illustrates the 400 year anniversary of Martin Luther.
Of interest are the small EMBOSSED seals seen at the bottom of each note-
and when the notes are
LINED UP
they spell out L-U-TH-E-R!
Also included is the
RARELY SEEN
folder
in good condition (small tear near lower part of crease). The notes were originally sold in this folder and
were often thrown away!
Notice the dates on the envelope: 7 April 1521 - 7 April 1921.
Wonderful crisp notes in UNCIRCULATED condition, which measure about 3 inches by 3¹/2 inches each.
