    1950s Barq’s Root Beer Flange Converted to Sign, Plenty of Character, Seldom Seen
    This is a nice old Barq’s flange with a ton of honest wear and character. Somewhere along its long life someone cut the flange down to hang as an oval sign. The cut job is pretty darn good. The sign measures 21 x 14 inches. I purchased this sign in a little town just north of San Antonio about 25 years ago and it hung in my house for years. Just time to pass it along to someone else to treasure. I attached a wire to hang the sign. The wire has noimpact on the sign and can easily be removed. You can purchase the sign with the hanging wire or I can remove it. It’s a solid sign and displays well. The back does have a good amount of just surface rust and paint loss.
