    Description

Cunard Line: Four pieces of china in the gold "snowflake" pattern used from 1969 into the 1980s on the QE2.
The set consists of a 6.5" diameter side plate, a 5" diameter dish, a 4.25" diameter dish, and a 3.75" diameter sugar cube dish complete with a stainless steel lid.
All are bottom-marked "Steelite" and Cunard. When introduced in 1969 and used first on the QE2, Steelite was heralded as "an entirely new ceramic body which is the nearest thing to 'unbreakable china' yet invented." The Marquess of Queensberry designed the snowflake pattern.
    Excellent condition.
