Description :The item up for bids is a stylish art deco silver plated vase from the Cunard ocean liner RMS Queen Mary. It features a tapered cylindrical form with a heavy stepped ring base. There is a stamped Cunard lion logo on the side. The vase is heavy for its size with a low center of gravity to keep it stable in heavy seas. It is signed on the bottom Gladwin Ltd., Sheffield, Embassy, Hard Soldered, 23776, 55. It's a great piece of Cunard ex White Star hotel plate, have some fun and bid!Condition :It is in fair vintage condition. It shows heavy handling wear with scuffs, small dents, dings, scratches, and tarnish. The plating is in generally good shape with wear on the rim, and it'll take a polish. The interior is grungy. It's not a museum piece but it still presents fairly well and is suitable for use or display. The pictures are the best indicator as to condition, please use the zoom feature and check them out.Dimensions :It's about 6-7/8" tall and about 2-3/4" in diameter at the base.
