Up for bid is a wonderful vintage patriotic postcard. This card features a colorful lithographic illustration of Betsy Ross leaning on her spinning wheel after sewing the first American flag. When you supersize image 1 you will see the wonderful detail on this card. If you look closely you can read the information at the bottom regarding the flag's adoption by Congress. The colors are still vivid and the artistry is just great! What makes this card even more special is that it is a souvenir of the 1910 Dover, NJ Old Home Week. When you supersize image 2 you can see the printing that identifies it as such. It has been postally used and a 1910 flag cancellation across the one-cent stamp on the divided back.
