    Civil War Confederate Pin Badge Medal Insignia 1st Arkansas Cavalry Battalion
    Presented is a rare and highly collectible insignia pin or badge from the
    American Civil War, for the 1st Arkansas Cavalry Battalion. The pin has a simple
    C style clasp as well as a bar for the attachment of a ribbon, presumably. The
    engraving of the lettering is simple almost pinprick style, but quite readable.
    Very interesting piece and quite hard to find today.
    The pin is in great condition, particularly for its age and history. Clasp
    functions well and closes nicely. Metal has a lovely aged patina, which we have
    left exactly as we found it.
    The pin measures about 1 3/4 by ½ of an inch.
