  • Condition: A hard to find original Coca Cola Masonite Sign dated 1946, measuring 28" long by 20" high. This sign was produced shortly after WW2 using tooling from the war time period (when metal was in short supply due to the war effort). Given the fragile nature of a Masonite Sign, very few of these have survived. This sign has very nice bright colors, but has a few issues as you can see in pictures. It is missing a piece of the upper left corner edge, and there are some further nicks along the lower left edge. There is what appears to be some wall paint on far edge areas, and some flaking on those far edges. It has a short 2" long scratch in the center (see picture with pencil pointing to it), and a few other small nicks here and there from its age and handling. The colors are very nice and bright, so other than the broken edge area, this sign has lived a relatively sheltered and well cared for life.
