    Description

    ol' skool Rigid Chopper Blueprints
Now you can have your own full set of up-to-date Professional Quality Fully Functional Mechanical Drawings/Blueprints of a Classic American V-Twin Rigid Chopper. Build your own one-off 'ol' skool' (140-150 tire) or better yet start up your own chopper fabrication shop!
These crisp and clear Working prints are the real thing, each is an original print - no fuzzy 'copies' of an outdated design here. Each set measures a whopping 36" x 72" with 5 views and is printed on brilliant white paper strong enough to withstand shop notes yet attractive enough to display in a frame. Prints are delivered in a sturdy storage tube, no fold marks!
This clear and easy to read, extremely accurate, 1/2 scale print displays BOTH Fraction and Decimal measurements of every critical dimension and angle imaginable, including the standard engine (late model Evo style) and transmission (belt or chain drive) locations. This set of plans give you ALL the dimensions and angles you will need to build your own custom frames including Basic Material Schedule, Builder Notes and Tire Dimensions Details. These are the exact same dimensions as those used by all of the big bike manufacturers. Even shows rake options from 30 to 45 degrees!
All detailed views clearly display engine and transmission mount locations, forward controls, axle plates and neck measurements. Print views include Side, Top, Bottom, Front, and Back.
This tried and true frame design - many others with varying modifications - has been built hundreds of times by both novices and professionals. This frame design - again with basic custom modifications - has put many builders in business and sparked the creativity to expand and design their own custom creations. Many of the measurements are basic dimensions that are found on both stock and custom bikes. If you are researching for future bike project or ready to build your one off, hand built custom hot rod - this is an excellent first step! The process of building a bike can be frustrating, to say the least. If you are considering building your own custom chopper these clear and precise prints are a must have. The more good information you acquire, the better prepared you are for success. Now you KNOW what you are talking about!

    FAQ-
Question:    Are any of the blueprints available in a digital form?
Answer:        No... Currently, the blueprints are only available in the printed form.
Question:    Are 'Custom Specification' frame blueprints available?
Answer:        No. The frame specifications are 35-degree rake at the neck, 4" stretch in the downtubes and 1.5" stretch in the backbone. Any changes from these specifications can easily be made in the jig.
Question:    Will modifications be necessary to fit big inch engines?
Answer:        Engines 110 inches and larger will require an additional room at the backbone and seat post joint. Keeping the backbone ABOVE the stock location and putting a slight bend in the seat post eliminates these issues.
Question:    Are there any frame of jig blueprints for Twin-Cam or Sportster engines?
Answer:        No. Both Twin-Cam and Sportster engine designs will not fit in this style frame or jig.
Question:    What engines will fit the current frame designs?
Answer:        Standard 'EVO' design engines only. The engine mounts are designed to fit the Knucklehead (1936-1947), the Panhead (1948-1965), the Shovelhead (1966-1985) and the Evolution (1984-1999). This configuration is the engine separate from the transmission.
NOTICE: The Twin Cam 88 (1999-Present) and Twin Cam 88B (2000-Present) have a DIFFERENT mount design. This configuration is the engine is attached to the transmission. And a third design and mount configuration are the Evolution Engine (2001-Present). The Twin Cam and Evolution engine designs are not yet supported.
Question:    Is the engine and/or transmission offset in any of the frame designs?
Answer:        No... The engine and transmissions mounts are not offset for the stock / centered location. Offset of the transmission to accommodate wide tire designs is limited to the transmission offset plate. The is a separate mounting plate that attaches the transmission to the frame.
Question:    How do you make the frame street legal?
Answer:        Your local DMV will require various paperwork, including an MSO (Manufactures State of Origin) for the frame, when titling and licensing your finished vehicle. Please check with your local DMV or Highway Patrol for what is required - each state is different. The following document may be of help: www.bccorlando.com/mso_info.pdf

    FRAUDS & IMPOSTERS
Here at BCC Orlando, owned and operated by Rick Hedrick, we take the Business/Life of choppers serious. Our attention to quality, design, and accuracy cannot and will not be equaled! Our blueprints are inspected to be the finest - so you get the finest!
There, unfortunately, are those that feel it necessary to STEAL rather than to work hard. We have years of experience and are willing to help all of those in need. Through our over willingness, there have been a few unscrupulous individuals that have TAKEN our offer to help and put to THEIR advantage. All of the information including the BCC Orlando site are Copyrighted (Domestic and International) by BCC Orlando and Rick Hedrick. But obviously, the Copyright LAWS mean nothing to some. Yes, slime is slippery and these fraudulent individuals do their best to stay just out of reach. They may be able to 'COPY' our prints, 'COPY' our site but they will NEVER be able to 'COPY' or compromise our experience and customer service. We are confident that these trolls will eventually get caught up in their own lies and incompetence.
