After some heavy R&D and road testing Small Fast Things is proud to release the highly
anticipated
GY6 swap mount for the Honda Ruckus.  Our GY6 mount is
CNC laser cut from high strength 3/8" U.S. steel plate and assembled in-house right here in the USA.
Other mounts on the market are made with thinner material which is prone to cracking and bending due to engine vibration especially on the more powerful GY6 150cc motor.
Our mount design allows for the carburetor to be mounted backwards as originally intended on the GY6 150cc motor.  Other GY6 mounts on the market require the use of cocking flanges and spacers in order to run the carburetor forward facing.  This is actually bad for performance...By mounting the carburetor facing backwards as intended, the float in the carb bowl is level, which helps with starting, idling, WOT, etc.  In keeping this in mind, we have created a GY6 swap mount that is functional, practical, and most importantly cost effective for you as the builder and rider.  Remember, we are riders like you and work effortless to bring to you parts that we can stand behind.
This GY6 swap stretch kit is only to be used with SKINNY AND NON-FATTY WHEELS.  THIS
WILL NOT WORK
WITH FATTY WHEELS, STOCK 50CC HONDA RUCKUS MOTOR, CHINESE SCOOTERS, CLONES.
What is so special about this GY6 Swap Mount?
Our mount design allows for the carburetor to be mounted backwards as originally intended on the GY6 150cc motor.  Other GY6 mounts on the market require the use of cocking flanges and spacers in order to run the carburetor forward facing, which is an extra cost for your build!!  We have proven that mounting the GY6 carburetor facing forward is bad for performance.  For years, running GY6 carbs facing forward on the 150cc motors has caused hard starting, idling issues, and not enough gas at WOT.  We have found that by mounting the carburetor facing backwards as intended, the float in the carb bowl is level, which helps with starting, idling, WOT, etc, so we wanted to design a mount that was centered around this key aspect of performance.  Avoid the headache, use our GY6 mount for your Honda Ruckus 150cc swap.

Yes.  Because there are endless possibilities for handlebars, brakes, etc you will need longer rear brake and throttle cables. Please see our other listing for a complete kit.  Stock wiring will be long enough.
