Collection of (4) vintage commemorative postcards including their original envelopes, postmarked at Long Beach, California on December 9, 1967, marking the RMS Queen Mary's final voyage before permanently docking at Long Beach.
Each single-side postcard entitled "The Last Great Cruise" shows a map of the great Cunard liner's final route.
On October 31, 1967, the Queen Mary departed from Southampton for the last time. She called at Lisbon, Las Palmas, Rio de Janeiro, Valparaiso, Callo (Lima), Balboa, Acapulco and arrived at Long Beach on December 9th.
Condition:
All postcards and envelopes are in excellent condition, are stamped, and bear the postmark of Long Beach, CA on the date of the Queen's last stop.
