Rare and wonderful, original Civil War Period, Brass Artillery Hat Insignia / Badge in the form of crossed Cannons. This very attractive Cap Badge measures approx. 2" wide and 1 1/2" tall. The cannons are stamped from a medium weight, shell brass and has a single, large pin back that was used to attach the Insignia to the Hat.
This wonderful Civil War Period, Artillery Hat Badge is 100% unconditionally guaranteed to be original and of the Civil War period. It is in very good condition with no damage or repairs and with a rich and warm surface patina.
