I'm pleased to offer this "Vintage"
SCRIMSHAW ART
White Bone
CHINESE SNUFF BOTTLE
It measures 2-7/8" tall X 1-7/8" long X 1-3/8" wide.
Beautifully made
of polished white bone that looks just like ivorie; it has a tiny cork stopper & delicate wooden spoon.
The rounded & polished smooth agate stone top has a natural opaque inclusion & is jade green in color.
What is
unique
is the "Jungle Parrot" scrimshaw artwork that is rendered on both sides (see images).
With no chips, cracks or maker's marks; the tiny wooden spoon shows no use & is possibly a newer replacement.
