Up for bid is a colorful vintage patriotic postcard. Titled, "Washington -- His Kindness," this card features a colorful lithographic illustration of our nation's first president caring for his horse. When you supersize image one you will see the wonderful details on this card. Notice the cherries for which Washington became famous. There are plenty of stars & stripes banners and silver stars decorating the card. The colors are very vivid and the artistry is just great! This beautifully embossed card was published by E. Nash in 1909 (when you supersize image 1 you can see the copyright at the lower-right portion) It was part of their "Washington Birthday Series No. 2." The card has not been postally used and has no handwriting on its divided "Winsch back." Here is a wonderful vintage card that is ready for framing, or to add to your Patriotic or Washington's Birthday postcard collection. Better bid now, before another collector takes it away forever.
